How do you make an impact as a Technical Consultant?

As a Technical Consultant at Ydentic, you are responsible for the implementation of the Ydentic Portal for new partners and supporting the onboarding of tenants to our platform. You work closely with internal teams and partners to develop optimal solutions that add value for both our partners and their clients. Your responsibilities include:

• Active involvement: You take the lead during the implementation of the Ydentic Portal and the onboarding phase for new partners. You ensure a smooth implementation and support partners in using the Ydentic platform effectively.
• Technical expertise: You apply your extensive knowledge of Microsoft (Azure) Active Directory, AD-Connect, Exchange (Online), SharePoint, and Azure Virtual Desktop wherever needed. You are responsible for the technical implementation and ensure seamless system integration.
• Knowledge sharing: As a platform expert, you share your expertise with Platform Admins and Ydentic users. By sharing your knowledge, you help them move forward effectively. You will train the Service Desk and Platform Admins in using the Ydentic platform and other relevant tools.
• Customer orientation: You think about total solutions for the MSP and look beyond just Ydentic. This includes considering integrations and HR connections to elevate the service desk and end-customer processes. You play an advisory role in the best practices of the Ydentic platform and implement standard integrations such as HR, PSA, distributor, and service management.
• Contribution to success: You contribute to the success of Ydentic and its partners by promoting good platform adoption and helping partners achieve their goals.
• Collaboration: You act as a point of contact for MSPs with questions about the relationship between Ydentic and Microsoft products. Additionally, you support Ydentic developers with their inquiries. You hold regular partner meetings with Platform Admins or Product Owners at the MSP to enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange.

What are we looking for in a Technical Consultant?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Technical Consultant. It’s essential that you have an interest in Managed Service Providers and sufficient technical background and experience. Since you are known as a ‘platform specialist,’ we understand that you may not have all the experience yet. Therefore, you will be trained and prepared by our experienced Technical Consultant to work independently. We are looking for a Technical Consultant with:

• Relevant experience: A few years of experience in a technical or service-oriented role, where you have contributed to customer satisfaction and successful solution implementations.
• Educational background: A completed relevant education at MBO-4 or HBO level in a technical field, with the willingness to continuously learn and further develop your skills.
• Technical affinity: Strong affinity with Microsoft software and technologies like Azure Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint, allowing you to quickly understand and apply new solutions.
• Language proficiency: Fluent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written, to communicate effectively with customers and partners.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information and ask the right questions for a better understanding of customer needs.
• Collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, both internally and externally, and act as a bridge between technical teams and partners.
• Problem-solving ability: Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to identifying and solving technical problems effectively.
• Training and coaching: Experience in training and coaching team members or partners in using technical solutions and platforms, promoting knowledge transfer and ease of use.

Do you have to do all this yourself? No, definitely not! We are stronger as a team! You will work closely with your colleague, Technical Consultant Martijn, and Project Manager Jeroen. It is essential that you are available and accessible to your teammates. Therefore, we expect you to be present at our office in Zwolle a few days a week. Additionally, it’s important to be on-site with our partners regularly. This allows you to better support them and provide valuable solutions that meet their needs.
